Examples of work done on the Jerry-Rig Work Positioner

  • Ergonomic design provides 360° rotation side to side and 12 positions front to back. Carvers raise or lower the workpiece to a comfortable height.

  • Mounts to a workbench vertically or horizontally in various ways: (1) Using four screws (not included); (2) Using the optional table clamp; or (3) Using the optional carving arm mounting kit. Click Here

  • Variety of easy on/off vises and fixtures available, enabling Jerry-Rig™ to be adaptable for carving, sculpting, painting, texturing, assembly of large and small irregularly shaped objects, etc. New carving posts for wood turners.

  • Durably built of heavy gauge cast aluminum to maintain rigidity during heavy mallet blows while carving or using power tools.

    • A small bird or carving can be held using the "Grip All" which can also be used separately or held in a vise.

    Two-jaw vise opens to 9", and has removable and reversible jaws covered in Neoprene® to cushion the workpiece.

    A larger carving, such as the duck decoy shown, can be held in to the vise by using a carver's screw supplied with the vise.

    A unique feature of Jerry-Rig™ is its ability to rotate the clamping head to allow the carver to raise or lower the workpiece to a comfortable height. The vise mounts easily to any workbench or table using the attached C-clamp, or mounts to a bench with 1/2" threaded rod using the tapped hole at the bottom of the Jerry-Rig™. The Jerry-Rig™ can also be mounted to a carving arm using a dog hole kit.

    Exclusive, optional peg plates can be mounted to the two-jaw vise (JR-V1) to firmly grip odd-shapes without damaging the workpiece. Pegs are cushioned with soft plastic to prevent movement.
